Bettr breaking news

As of 14.50 on Friday 28th November we have shifted 73 tickets for Bettr (out of a possible 75), have had a very kind offer of sponsorship for the lunch (not sure I can announce who yet but will do asap) ++UPDATE++Talis are sponsoring the lunch thanks to the other Paul Miller++

and I am finalising details of potential sponsors of coffee throughout the day and post event beers at a nearby public house (oh and I think we might stretch to a healthy breakfast of Krispy Kremes doughnuts!)..

So as all these elements are starting to come together its time to start thinking more about the structure of the day to make sure everyone gets the most out of the day as possible – not a straightforward thing as the lovely space at DEMOS does throw up some challenges for this kind of semi-structured day so its time to get the old thinking hat on again.

As much as anything the event is aimed to give everyone the opportunity to meet people who might face some of the same challenges as them as well as a few people who might be able to offer some solutions so in many ways the networking elements are at least as important as the speaking slots and getting that balance right is going to be key.

Anyway thanks again to everyone who has signed up – I’ve had some nervous moments about this event but am starting to feel much more confident now I’ve had proof people are actually interested!
